Google Chrome Updated!

Google Chrome for Android was updated which enables saving pages for offline viewing in December last year. Taking a step ahead, the company today has added a minor but useful update to this feature making it easier to download pages for offline viewing.

Now when you long press on any link in Chrome, a new option called ‘Download link’ appears. This choice also appears when you tap and hold on any article suggestion on a new tab page. Also, if you happen to have connectivity issues or for any reason the Chrome dinosaur image appears, you will now see a ‘Download Page Later’ button that will automatically save the page whenever you are back online. Sounds neat. All downloaded articles show up in the recent downloads list with a new offline badge.
