Tech giant Apple’s Twitter account accidentally leaked the new iPhone 7 ahead of its launch. Apple’s official account tweeted, “New cameras. Water-resistant. Stereo speakers. Longer battery life. This is 7.” It also revealed that the phone is available for pre-orders starting September 16. However, the tweet was removed after a few minutes.
Tech giant Apple announced that the newly launched iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will be available in India from October 7 with prices starting at ₹60,000 for the 32 GB variant. Both the models will be available in silver, gold, rose gold, black and jet black colour in 32 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB variants.
While Apple is believed to bring in a major design overhaul next year, we still have a device coming this year, and the rumour mill just doesn’t seem to halt. A new leak of the iPhone 7 shows a second speaker grill. The company has planned to ditch the headphone plug, and add a second grill, according to tweets by Steve Hemmerstoffer of nowhereelse.fr (via TheNextWeb).
Besides the second grill, the leak also exposes the camera assembly. The leaked images of the iPhone 7 reveal a camera bump. The report points out that the rising aluminum case to meet the surface of the camera bump could be a waterproof measure taken by Apple something that has been speculated for some time now.
